In brief, it is the conlention of the Claimant that consequent upon his being injured in a
motor vehicle accident on 3 1 July, 1996, he was admitted to the Kingston Public
Hospital. There, he was diagnosed as suffering from the following injuries:
a) fracture of the left distal femur
